lately, i feel like i have been in a funk...i'm not going to lie.  as a mother that works from home, everyday has started to feel like groundhog day to me.  do y'all ever feel this way?  i feel like i'm on repeat...going through the motions.  this quote speaks to me and makes me want to push myself to do more and break out of my routine (or rather my comfort zone)....

Amen sister! I try to always do something different every week just to break the cycle. Maybe meet a friend for lunch or go out for drinks. It's tough but thank God for good friends, family, and a great husband. Hope you break your funk soon!

Shannon,
I feel the same way. I just want to let you know what an inspiration you are to me. I am a mother of a two year old and I am trying to start up my own design company. It is so hard. Any words of advice for someone starting out. I am so glad a stumbled onto your blog. You have great taste.

I felt that way for YEARS! My children are now grown, but I did stay home with them until they were in high school. Those were the LOOOOEST days ever. I suggest, if you can, just change it up a bit each day... an outting in the park, feed the ducks some bread, a walk down the bike path, a visit to the playground anything that gets you out of the house, in fresh air and sun in your face really helped me. Just keep it simple and free!

Even working outside of the home can feel like a redo every single day. I hope you find a way out of the rut. The images you posted are gorgeous!
